The Lauderdale County Democratic Executive Committee is made up of everyday Democrats across Lauderdale County who have been elected during the gubernatorial primary (plus at-large members) to build and operate the Democratic Party within the county. This includes qualifying candidates, organizing grassroots campaigns, and informing the community about Democratic candidates and ideals. The county party qualifies candidates for local offices such as county commissioner, sheriff, probate judge, county school board, and more.
